This category is for sound effects (SFX) created on the monotron.
The duration should be under 15 seconds. The use of a modified monotron is acceptable.*
This category is for instrumental music created on the monotron.
The duration should be 2 minutes or less. You can use the AUX IN to process external audio, use multitrack recording or use multiple units. The use of a modified monotron is acceptable.*
This category is for instrumental music created on the monotribe.
The duration should be 2 minutes or less. You can use the AUX IN to process external audio, use multitrack recording or use multiple units. The use of a modified monotribe is acceptable.*
There are no limitations on professional or amateur status, age, sex, or nationality. Entries may also be submitted by a group.
- The entered work must be the work of the actual person submitting the entry.
- Copyright to the entered work will remain the property of the person who entered the work, but by entering you must agree to allow Korg Inc. to use your entered work in its websites or in storefront videos etc. without payment to you.
- Entries must not violate law or standards of public decency; must not infringe a third party's copyright, rights of image and likeness, or any other rights; and must not libel or slander any third party.
- Entries must abide by the policies of YouTube. If any such problems arise regarding an entry, Korg Inc. shall not be involved or responsible in any way, and all responsibility for resolving such problems shall be borne by the person who submitted the entry.
* By submitting your entry for this competition you warranty that you used the Korg monotron, and/or monotribe in the development and production of your entered work following to the Entry Rules.
** Limited to submissions via YouTube, the submission of a cover song is also permitted. However if the submission is found to be in conflict with the policies of YouTube, such submissions shall be disqualified.
Personal information that you provide in conjunction with this campaign will be used by Korg Inc., Korg USA and Korg UK only for the purposes of this campaign (accepting submissions, selecting entries, and notifying winners), and will not be used for any other purpose.
